IN reply to the lady who said she would not have any more breast screening (Letters, October 3), five years ago I went for routine screening and was told I had a small cancer in my breast.
Two days later, I had a biopsy and then six weeks later another operation. If I had not, I would have had my breast off or would have died. I have to go every year, but will never cancel and I am 69.
