A MAN accused of attacking his next-door neighbour has appeared before Bury magistrates.
Ronald Burton, aged 39, of Eastham Avenue, Bury, is alleged to have used a length of timber to strike his victim, David Breen, who suffered injuries including a broken wrist.
Burton, who appeared from custody, is charged with unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The case was adjourned until October 23. Bail was granted.
