ROBBERS who called at a house in Whitefield slashed their victim's face before making off with his mobile phone.
Two men knocked at the front door of the 40-year-old's home in Rydal Grove at 4.20pm on Wednesday (Oct 16).
When he answered, they pushed their way inside. Once there, they cut him on the head, neck and face with a knife, before making off with the telephone.
The man was treated for his injuries at North Manchester General Hospital.
