I WRITE with regard to recent stories about the congestion on Rochdale Old Road, Bury.

For me, the road to hell is a journey to Fairfield Hospital at 8.45am. It is absolute chaos and if it is bad now what will it be like when an ambulance gets stuck in the traffic with someone dying in the back? Does it have to take a death to get something done?

How long will it take the "deep-thinking ones" to come up with a solution to a problem of their own making?
