REGARDING Margo Grimshaw's article (LET, October 8), yes, we all agree Jim Bowen is a real sport.
We must not forget the money he's made for a lot of charities over the last three years or the people who have been on his shows and given them a start in life.
I belong to the Clitheroe Clangers hand bells group. We were on his show last December in Mellor Village Hall. What fun we had!
The "Happy Daft Farm" programme will still go on - it has to for Jim's sake.
