DEAR MASSI, I am hoping to get married next year but realise as the day gets closer I may be making a mistake.
I have always wanted to go with the wishes of my parents as they have always listened and respected my decisions. My marriage has been arranged by them but I have had to choice of who my husband would be. I have been engaged for 6 months and the wedding is now playing on my mind. I haven't met anyone else because I don't go out looking for relationships with guys or do anything like that.
Is it right to feel like this? My friends say I'm just nervous.

MASSI SAYS,
Yes it is normal for some people to feel like this before they get married. But only you know deep down exactly what kind of feelings you have towards your impending wedding day.
If you think they will have adverse effects on your marriage then you need to talk to your parents. You say they have respected your decision in the past, so they may do so again. There's no point in getting yourself into something you know might fail.
It is better to sort out these 'feelings' now rather than later. Maybe they are just wedding nerves.
