A CHRISTMAS Fair was held at Rossendale United Football Social Club on Saturday to raise money for three-year-old Jack Heath who is suffering from an incurable genetic disorder.
Jack, of Peel Avenue, Bacup, was diagnosed with Mucopolysaccharidoses II (MPS2) -- more commonly know as Hunters Syndrome -- in May this year.
He is not expected to survive to his teens and his parents are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for the 'Jack' trust to buy specialist equipment and to take him to Disneyland.
The fair was opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rossendale, Coun James Eaton and his wife Janet.
