IN answer to the recent remarks about bus safety (Letters, December 11), last month I travelled from Burnley to Nelson on a bus fitted with seat belts. Apart from myself, I never saw anyone else wearing one.
So it is not just the bus companies at fault; it is sometimes public apathy that it will never happen to them.
