A CLIVIGER landlord is hoping to keep his customers entertained during the festive season with some traditional carols.
Neil Murphywill, of the Ram Inn, in Burnley Road, is appealing to local carol singing groups or choirs to spend an hour in the inn at some point this week.
Singers would need to be available between now and December 23.
Mr Murphywill will give guests the opportunity to make a small donation to a charity of the carol group's choice.
He said: "Christmas is about traditional sights and sounds. There is nothing more fitting than a carol group singing Silent Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and other historical melodies.
"In the week before Christmas, people are seeking something to put them in the mood for the magical time of year. I think this will be it.
"Hopefully the fact that the singing is for charity will make it an even more good-willed affair and I'm sure any group which comes forward will get great support from my customers."
Any group wanting to perform should contact Neil on 01282 418921.
