THE NHS Appointments Commission has appointed another non-executive director to the board of Calderstones NHS trust.
Chris Leybourne, from South Lakeland, has been appointed to bring her expertise to the Board at Calderstones NHS Trust, which provides a specialist learning disability service in hospital and the community.
Mrs Leybourne followed a career in social care in Lancashire after graduating from Aston University.
She has worked as a social worker for the deaf, then in staff training and development and most recently in business management for Lancashire County Social Services.
Graham Parr, chairman of Calderstones NHS Trust, said: "The appointment of Chris Leybourne completes the non-executive director appointments and brings to the board additional skills and expertise which will further enhance the current expertise of board members.
"I am very much looking forward to her taking up the appointment and seeing her become part of a highly dedicated team at Calderstones."
