A BLACKBURN landlord who turned around a Lancaster bar has just finished his first six months behind the bar in the East Lancashire town.
Lex Roberts, 32, of Baroque bar, in Northgate, moved in before the summer from Bentleys in Lancaster.
He was sent by his boss Mick Parke of Fernvale Ltd to look over the renovation of the bar and turn it into a successful bar with a city centre feel.
Manchester born Lex said: "When I moved in, the bar did not have the reputation I wanted.
"I completely renovated the bar and barred those that I didn't want in the place. We took a bit of a nose-dive in profits, but things are turning around now."
