I AM sure Rovers fans remember Burnley taunts that the Worthington Cup is a Micky Mouse Cup with Premiership sides fielding reserves and even youth players.
Solskjaer put paid to that myth, Fergie clearly wants some silverware and any Cup will do. Rovers hit the jackpot winning it last season and had the last laugh with a great night in Glasgow against Celtic and an exciting time as yet another big club visits Ewood Park.
Burnley will have to have a run in the FA Cup and hope they meet another big club. Rovers need to win the Worthington Cup again to get in Europe as UEFA Cup experience is required and several seasons before winning the Cup in Europe.
