FORTY NHS workers can find their way around a computer system easily enough after they completed a training course.
Staff from Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Trust have completed their ECDL qualification -- or European Computer Driving Licence, with Nelson-based Pendle Training.
The ECDL covers essential aspects of IT such as word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations and the Internet. It enables students to demonstrate their computer skills, raising knowledge and productivity at work.
The qualification has been adopted by the NHS as their 'standard' and many other staff are now taking the course.
Pendle Training tutor Mr Michael Binns said the students should be proud of what they have achieved.
