ONE of Preston's finest venues for live music and quality food, Bistro French, on Avenham Street, is getting full up over the Christmas period!

But manager Adam Boasman is urging customers to head on down to the lively restaurant in January, for a delayed Christmas-do.

He said: "People who cannot celebrate their Christmas parties in December can have them in January. We have ours in March, believe it or not."

At Bistro, customers are in for an evening they won't forget. Along with the top-notch food and great service, there are plenty of amazing live acts lined up for the new year.

First up is the five-piece male band Men in Black, performing hits from George Michael, Westlife and Boyzone on January 3, 4, 6, and 24. Then Beyond, featuring singer Vernon is back at Bistro on January 6, 7, 8, and 9. The powerful singer will be bringing to life tracks like Mustang Sally, and Papa was a Rolling Stone. The Tina Stones Band will then be singing at the venue from January 10 to 13. The raunchy act features numbers by artists like Britney Spears and Madonna.

Ladies' favourite Diesel will be showcasing their covers of top chart acts like Robbie Williams and Westlife, from January 16 to 18.

The month is rounded off by one-night only performances from Touch and Go, Sharon Lewis and Desire, the Bernadette Wilde Band and The Word.

Mr Boasman said: "The good thing about us is we cater for everybody, young or old, who wants to have a good party."
