DARWEN Guides are looking for leaders to eliminate a waiting list of children eager to join the Rainbows.
Leaders are sought throughout the association for the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides with St James's, Holy Trinity and Hollins Grove most in need.
Olive Bolton, Guides division commissioner, said: "We have so many people waiting to join the Rainbows that we now have waiting lists. New leaders will be given training and work with a mentor who will guide them through training."
Leaders can choose which age group they would like to work with between five and 14.
Adults between 18 to 65 are welcome and will be expected to give up between one and two hours each work to prepare and supervise children.
