HAVING used the park and ride facility behind the Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale, a couple of times, I found I had to write just to say how great it is not to have to drive into the city and struggle to find a parking place, which is even more difficult at this time of year.
It was very convenient to find that the terminus in Preston could not have been more central and with the fare for two OAPs together being a mere 75p, this put the 'icing on the cake' for us.
On the first visit we stayed in Preston for four hours for the same price without worrying about the time spent on a city car park. I would recommend this ideal form of public transport.
I can tell you now that we will be very hesitant to go into the centre by car ever again.
