ARTISTS from across East Lancashire are being encouraged to showcase their talents on a new website.
John Bradbury, of Stoneyhurst Height, Burnley, has been an artist for more than 15 years and said he wanted to help other artists get their work recognised and make a name for themselves.
It is hoped the website -- www.johnmbradburyart.co.uk -- will soon be up and running and work by local people will be seen around the world.
Mr Bradbury, 44, said: "I'm just waiting to hear from the website designer, but the launch of the site is imminent.
"My aim is to produce a mega showcase of artists in Lancashire.
"This will be for all artists and designers from all walks and cultures and it will give them information on different services available to them.
"Hopefully this will create a wealth of talented artists in the area that we can show off to the world."
