COLLABORATIVE writing workshops are being held for people who are interested in an imaginative investigation of creative writing.
The workshops hosted by the 3dv company of writers, three writers working together to create a single text, are hoping to create a new approach to live literature by creating live literature readings, using vibrant multi-voiced narratives.
A Crowd of Three, made up of Sarah Hymas, Esther Davis and Mary Winter, who all have writing experience is an opportunity for people living in the valley to break the mould of solitary writing. There are to be three consecutive Saturday workshops from 10am - 4pm from March 18, 15 and 29.
The events will be held at Haslingden Community Link, Bury Road, Haslingden, with live readings from 3dv's new collection, creative writing games, writing with others, as well as the choice to perform or record finished writings.
Free tea and coffee and car parking facilities will be available. People should bring a packed lunch. To book a place contact David Smith, Mid Pennine Arts, Yorke Street, Burnley, BB11 1HD or contact him on 01282 421986.
