TEENAGERS have been reminded that help is at hand if they feel like running away from home over the festive season.
Blackburn Connexions offers advice lines for young people who feel like they may be reaching crisis point.
According to a report by the Social Exclusion Unit, 77,000 young people run away each year and one in nine stay away for at least one night before they reach 16.

Parents or carers of young people can seek advice from Parentline on 0808 800 2222 and if their child has run away then advice on being homeless and housing is available from Britain's first 24-hour, free national housing helpline Shelterline on 0808 800 4444.
