FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a car to rescue a woman trapped inside.
Two cars were in a collision at the corner of Hardman Road and Bury Old Road in Prestwich at around 6.20pm yesterday.
Whitefield firefighters used cutting gear so they could lift out a woman with suspected neck injuries on a spine board.
She was taken to North Manchester General Hospital.
