IT now looks certain that Britain and America will go to war with Iraq and billions of pounds will be spent on this conflict. What about helping combat world poverty?
Millions are dying across six southern African countries; Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, Lesotho and Mozambique.
At present, international aid agencies do not have enough food to feed three million starving Zimbabweans.
So why are so-called leaders of countries turning a blind eye to this awful suffering, when that money could save millions of lives?
Two things are almost certain. Iraq will be attacked and parts of Africa will continue to die a slow death.
