A SURVEY to mark the launch of the new car number plate in March has revealed that Blackburn motorists see their car as nothing more than a way of getting from A to B.
The survey by Westwood Mercedes dealership in Whitebirk Drive revealed that nearly 60 per cent of those questioned had a modest view to their wheels.
Ten per cent said their car was an image statement and 31 per cent admitted their car was an extension of their office.
Paul Yates, dealer director, said today's drivers were more discerning but said image still played a big part.
