SO the Pavilions in Church Street, Blackburn, are to be done up 'posh,' for want of a better word (LET, February 12).
If these three eyesores had been in the private sector, they would have been subject to a compulsory purchase order, with the word 'unfit' stamped on them.
Church Street looks out of balance after what has gone on over the last 18 months. It seems to have lost its appeal and we will now have three white elephants joining the farce.
The street at this time has an ugly and sad look.
