A CHARITY auction will be held tomorrow night at Padiham Town Hall.
The auctioneer will be Carol Stinton and proceeds are going to the Mayor of Burnley's Scanner Appeal.
Viewing starts at 6pm and the sale at 6.30pm. The Mayors and Mayoresses of Burnley and Padiham will attend.
If you wish to donate items for the auction you can take them on the evening or ring Carol on 773271.
THE Mayor and Mayoress of Padiham, Councillors Granville and Pat Lord, followed Padiham Storks to Clitheroe FC last Saturday. There they were greeted by the Mayor of Clitheroe, Councillor Mary Robbins and her consort who is her husband.
The Storks lost 4-1 to Clitheroe but there will be a return match at Padiham FC in a fortnight when the Mayor and Mayoress will return the hospitality they received from the Ribble Valley civic couple.
