A NEW day care centre was officially opened in Nelson which will be used by the Walton Lane Over 55s Club.
The centre, in Leeds Road, is run and funded by Age Concern and a special cake was presented to the new users to mark the occasion.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Pendle, Coun Pauline McCormick and her sister Gillian Carradice, also attended the event.
