CLARETS midfielder Tony Grant had no doubt that Sean Davis deserved his red card last night after being on the wrong end of his horror tackle.

Fulham boss Jean Tigana claimed his England hopeful was hard done to but Grant claimed: "I don't like to talk about these things but he was obviously very late.

"To be honest we had had a few skirmishes all over the pitch before that. Maybe he was getting a bit frustrated because they weren't really getting a kick and he is the type of player who is always giving 100 per cent.

"I think on this occasion he went a bit too far."

Grant had arguably his best game in a claret and blue shirt last night, supplying the first and third goals and running the midfield.

Now he is hoping that the FA Cup run will continue and he will be involved in another semi-final.

"I was on the bench when Everton played Spurs in the semi-final in 1996 when we won the Cup," he said.

"But of course we can do it, we have earned the right to dream about it. We need to be careful at Watford but we go there and we know we can win."
