RORY Gallagher tribute band Sinnerboy are on stage from 9pm on Saturday at The Glass Barrel, Tyldesley Road, Hindsford.
Described in last month's Classic Rock magazine as "one of the up and coming tribute bands to look out for" Sinnerboy is fronted by guitarist and singer Barry Barnes, one of Europe's most active enthusiasts working to keep alive the music and memory of Rory Gallagher.
For the past seven years, Barry has organised the annual Rory Gallagher tribute gig at Duckinfield which attracts audiences of 400-plus.
Their repertoire of over 40 songs includes material from every stage of Rory's career including his early days with Taste. Bullfrog Blues, Walk On Hot Coals, Tattooed Lady, Shadow Play and Moonchild are essential ingredients of every Sinnerboy set. Admission is free on Saturday.
