LEIGH RMI ladies had their first league match in six weeks against a strong Buxton team.
Buxton started better, scoring from close range early in the game. RMI stepped up a gear and took control. Sumner equalised with an excellent run behind the defense and a cool finish to make it 1-1 at half time.
Again RMI started slowly and fell behind 2-1 but against the run of play, man of the match Dennard scored with a header after a goalmouth scramble to make it 2-2.
Just before the end RMI grabbed a winner directly from a Robinson corner.
