SOUL is returning to Darwen's Masonic Hall for the first time in 18 years, in aid of Sunnyhurst Wood.
Motown classics and a disco will be the focus of the evening of Saturday, April 5.
Organiser Des Jones said: "Together with my friends and family, I've done a lot of charity events for special care baby units and charities such as the British Heart Foundation. Now we want to help the Friends of Sunnyhurst Wood. I know a lot of elderly people who go there and a lot of work needs doing to repair the paths since the floods last year. We hope to raise around £800."
The Hawkshaw Road event starts at 7.30pm and will be followed by a music quiz at 9.30. For tickets, at £3, contact 01254 771255 or 701348.
