NEWCHURCH WI learned about Victorian furniture and bygones from speaker Mr H Hodson.
The competition for a Victorian object was won by J Greig with O Lee and Patricia Poulter second and third. Mrs H Ashton received a bouquet to celebrate her 90th birthday.
Members have organised a coffee morning on March 12 to promote fair trade in the developing world. The birthday meeting on the same day will be at Newchurch Parish Church when there will be a talk on Cheshire wildlife.
