THE family of 92-year-old Edna Gilson are relieved that they had found her a new home.
Edna, from Atherton, ended-up on a hospital ward for terminally ill people after a fall resulted in her losing her place at a residential care home, as highlighted in the Journal recently.
Her family have secured Edna a place at a new home where they say she has settled.
Grand daughter Deborah Faulkner said: "We are really pleased to have finally found Edna a new home. It will take time for her to re-adjust and get used to the new staff, but she seems content."
