OUR good run came to an end last Saturday when we were beaten by a far better team.
Wolves showed that they intend to be in the end of season play-offs. They also showed us why we won't be.
Our finishing, especially in the first half, was poor.
We could and should have been in front at the break, the chances were there for the taking, and our keeper had very little to do.
What a difference in the second half! Wolves seemed to move up a gear and we were struggling.
But why oh why was George Ndah allowed to go unchallenged for fully 70 yards before firing in the first goal?
And perhaps if we'd added some long over-due pace at the back we just might have stopped the second goal from Kenny Miller.
Still, we have had a decent run just lately so let's hope we can get back to winning ways at lowly Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Tonight (Thursday) sees our last Fans' Forum for this season.
It will be at the Lonsdale Club, Fulwood Hall Lane, Fulwood. It starts at 8pm and Craig Brown will be there with Ricardo Fuller.
