HORNBY Lodge, the former Prestwich Police Station, has been sold for £850,000.
The new owners are Prestwich-based Loci Developments, of Venwood Road.
Prior to putting up the Bury New Road building for sale, Greater Manchester Police Authority applied for planning permission to turn the cop shop into a residential development but the application was withdrawn soon after.
However, it is still believed the site is earmarked for a residential development.
