A PLANT sale on Saturday will raise money for Cancer Research UK's Darwen branch.
The sale, of mainly herbaceous perennials, is at Derwent Hall, George Street, from 11am to 1pm.
Fundraisers recently made £434 at a charity night at Manjgiamo's Pizzeria, where diners were entertained by singing trio Classique. Cancer Research UK will have a stall at this year's Petticoat Lane market on May 26.
Donations of bric-a-brac are wanted from the public but electrical goods and clothing are not required. Anyone who can help should contact 01254 771844.
