BRITISH SEA POWER: The Decline of British Sea Power

IT may sound like something you'd order from Readers' Digest, but this could be one of the more exciting releases of the year. Then, again you could think it's one of the worst. VARIOUS: Yes New York

UPPOSEDLY an indication of today's music scene in the Big Apple. Sounds to me like all the bands are trying to be like each other. The Strokes and The Patrue are among the better-known names. As with mosy compilations, the good songs are outnumbered by the bad. JA

GENERATION X: Anthology

YOU have to be a really serious fan of Billy Idol and Co to rush out and buy a triple CD of their work. Included is the band's previously unreleased album Sweet Revenge -- and you can see why it was unreleased -- plus numerous live recordings and alternative mixes.

AUDIO BULLYS: Ego War

WHITE rappers with attitude, the Audio Bullies show scant regard for grammatical plurals. With samples galore and a plenty of disrespect, the Bullys are one of the hottest sounds around, but where will they been in six months time? Swatting up on their spellings hopefully. JA
