FORMER Leigh second rower John Elias is facing a jail sentence after he was arrested following a shooting incident in Sydney at the weekend.
Elias, who played at Hilton Park 10 years ago, is current coach of the Lebanon national side and recently was coaching Pia in France. He has been charged with shooting a man in a car park and was remanded in custody to appear in court again today (Thursday).
