GOLBORNE CC U15s were beaten by six wickets by Standish.
Golborne openers Carr and Tom Hart were soon in trouble, Hart surrendering his wicket without troubling the scorers in the third over.
The other Golborne batsmen also found it difficult to get to grips with the Standish bowling, only Ryan Foster (16) which included a monstrous six to the mid wicket boundary, Ben Lyon (12) and Neil Pownall (11) not out, offering any resistance as innings closed on 60 all out.
Carr and Partridge opened the bowling, but found it difficult to break through and Standish opener Bowden took advantage of any poor balls to make 24.
A change of bowling saw Whittaker take the wicket of Preston for 12. Three more wickets soon followed (one to Holt and two to Carr), but the Golborne total was soon reached.
