Accrington Stanley will start their season against fellow Nationwide Conference newcomers Aldershot.
Stanley, last season's runaway winners of the UniBond League, travel to the Recreation Ground on Saturday, August 9.
It means that Reds fans will have to wait for their first home date in the Conference which arrives on Tuesday, August 12 when local rivals Leigh RMI will be the visitors
The opening day matches for the two relegated League teams, Exeter and Shrewsbury, offer home games against Halifax - another League team until recently - and Margate respectively.
