A LEIGH High School has retained its Investors in People status.
Westleigh High School, Hindley Green and Leigh's Technology College, first won the recognition in 1999 but was recently re-assessed when the school's open style management and clear vision was singled out for praise.
Following the initial assessment the school introduced professional development portfolios for its staff and assessors noted that it has good induction and school-wide staff monitoring processes.
Headteacher Mr John Pout said: "The success has been a genuine team effort. We value all our staff very highly and have first class teachers and support staff who are pulling together for our students."
