MY wife, friends and I watched the should-we?, shouldn't we? debate about the granting of a licence for a lap dancing club and say three cheers to Blackburn with Darwen Council for moving with the times.
We have had some super nights out at other clubs in other towns and we say, why not Blackburn?
The clubs we have visited have been well ran and organised and you do feel safe there, unlike the run-of-the-mill bars in the town where pushing, shouting, swearing, not to mention brawling, are the norm.
We wish the Velvet Lounge our very best and look forward to opening night.
