PEOPLE can have their say on the future of Pendle's regeneration programme at a public meeting on Tuesday, at 6.15pm in the Civic Theatre, Stanley Street, Nelson.

The SRB6 regeneration programme covers the electoral wards of Bradley, Whitefield, Brierfield, Waterside and Vivary Bridge and residents and businesses from these wards are invited to attend.

The meeting will be chaired by Mohammed Ishaq who is the chairman of Pendle Partnership's Social Inclusion Key Priority Group. He said: "This in an important chance for the community to influence what Pendle Partnership does and the projects it funds. I would urge everyone who has an interest to come to this meeting."

A number of the projects funded by Pendle Partnership will be displaying information about what they do, including Nelson and Colne College, Pendle Leisure's Healthy Communities project and Pendle's Canal Corridor Co-ordinator.

After the meeting, consultants will write a report for Pendle Partnership, which will be responsible for any changes. The consultant's findings will be made public later in the year.
