WITH regards to the development of Jubilee gardens, I cannot believe that after speaking face to face with a local councillor and writing to the appropriate department of the council, that all local residents have not been informed of the availability of viewing time with regards to the proposed plans for the development.

I was assured that all local residents who may be affected by this development would be consulted.

I live on Green Drive, which is about 400 yards north from the gardens and if this development goes ahead then our road (which has had three vehicle accidents in the last year) will become unbearably busy.

I get the feeling that the council is trying to push this proposal through without the proper public consultation.

Every householder and buisness owner should be invited by the council, in writing to attend a public meeting where questions can be asked and answered.

I am frightened for the welfare of my and my neighbours children due to the foreseeable drastic increase in traffic which will occur if the plans go ahead. As a local resident I feel that I am banging my head against a brick wall and there is no-one out there who can help me.
