CHORLEY Lynx will be looking to return to winning ways this Sunday when they entertain York City Knights at Victory Park (kick-off 3pm).

Last weekend Lynx's winning run came to an end when they slipped to a disappointing 22-16 defeat at Barrow with the winning try coming seconds from the final hooter, after Lynx had held a 14 point advantage at half-time.

Darren Abram also suffered a major blow when prop forward Dave Whittle dislocated his knee within seconds of coming on as a substitute.

However, John Braddish and Mike Briggs should be fit to return to the squad while Ian Parry will be the most likely replacement for the unfortunate Whittle.

With no Super League games this weekend, the club have offered a concession rate of £5 for anyone with a season ticket for a Super League club as they look to boost the gate for this important match.

Like Lynx, York also started the season poorly, but they come to Victory Park with a winning run of four games, which has seen them leap over Lynx in the league table to currently stand in fifth place.

They have an experienced squad with ex-Great Britain internationals Graham Hallas, Lee Jackson and player-coach Paul Broadbent the best known names.

Despite these big name players, they have struggled for consistency and last weekend they struggled to overcome a battling Workington with two late converted tries giving the scoreline a lop sided look.

Lynx will select from: McCully, Garcia, Redford, Stenhouse, Andrews, Coates, Dean, Street, McConnell, Roden, Blackwood, Newell, Hodson, Parry, Smith, Rowley Kilgannon, Braddish, Briggs, Gambles, Ingram.
