MAY I congratulate Eric Leaver (LET, June 25) and Adrian Shurmer (Letters, June 10) for bringing to our attention the police obsession with speed and the persecution of the motorist -- this time using children for emotional blackmail.
Is there no lengths they won't go to in order to convince us that we really do need speed, sorry, safety cameras?
Why weren't fixed cameras put outside all schools in the first place instead of on dual carriageways? I think we know why.
