I WAS born in Darwen and lived there for 23 years, but I came to work on July 2 to hear that my sister had lost her job after more than 20 years with Crown Wallcoverings.
It's a very sad day for Darwen. There will be too many people looking for work now.
I hope the redundant people stay focused and positive and good luck to them all.
