REGARDING the girls from Westholme School in Blackburn who are taking part in an English Channel swimming marathon (LET, June 28).
I too, am 'swimming the Channel' -- at the Mercer Hall Pool in Great Harwood -- and up to date have done 620 lengths -- hoping to complete the Sharron Davies Muscular Dystrophy Challenge around September.
If I could get a few more people to sponsor me I would be grateful. Every penny helps someone to live a better life.
