NOW the dust has settled on Dunny's transfer and the facts are known, I feel compelled to write and defend him.
Is there anyone who has not fallen out with their gaffer?
In one transfer we have paid back 70 per cent of the cost of the academy, all this from a boy who has been at Ewood since he was eight.
Managers come and go, the fans are here for life. Dunny is one of us and always will be. I hope he gets the best reception ever afforded to a returning Roverite.
