CHILDREN at Crosshill Technology College, Blackburn, can chill out Japanese style in a new indoor garden.
The facility at the Shadsworth Road school was paid for through sponsorship from a variety of organisations and was the final step of the school's conversion to technology college status.
The garden is situated between the old building and new e-learning extension paid for with Government funding totalling £1.2million. Work on the facility, which includes bamboo seating, a selection of greenery and Japanese style stone carvings, has taken almost two years to complete.
The indoor garden, along with other facilities at the college, are available to children from other local schools and the community.
