A MUM today appealed for the return of her six-year-old son's bike after it was snatched by a teenager in front of him.
Cheryl Clarke, of Zebudah Street, Mill Hill, Blackburn, said Samuel was devastated by the theft of the green, £129 mountain bike three days after he was given it.
On Thursday afternoon he was sitting on his doorstep when a boy, who looked around 14, asked if he could borrow the bike. Samuel said no, but the boy rode off on it.
Cheryl said: "He is really upset. I kept telling him to bring it in when he wasn't using it, but he had it propped up outside the house.
"I think it is terrible that someone could steal a six year-old's bike in front of them."
Police are investigating.
