IN July, the House of Lords voted to allow local authorities to adopt a policy of fluoridation with the drinking water supplies.
It hasn't become law yet until it is debated in the Commons. If this house follows the Lords and it does become law, who would be responsible for poisoning us? In the EU, the UK and Ireland are the only members who do not recognise that fluoride is a poison.
On June 25, 2003, the House of Commons was due to debate clauses in the water bill that will give these companies immunity from both civil and criminal action for any water companies that decide to fluoridate. If the Government deem it necessary to have to bring this bill before Parliament they cannot be very sure of their footing.
Anyone interested in fluoridation can find a number of sites on the internet that make very interesting reading.
